Q.101
The name of the Beast was Prince Adam NOT Gaston.
Gaston was a different character and was the villain of the story.
The robin is no longer classed as a thrush - it's now a chat or flycatcher (family Muscicapidae). "Thrush" is what ornithologists used to call any little brown job they couldn't classify, but things have moved on a bit lately :)
On q.66 the Royal Irish Constabulary, formed in 1836 and dissolved in 1922,were certainly not known as the Black and Tans. The Black and Tans were a reserve force recruited, mainly in England, in 1919 to assist the R.I.C during the Irish War of Independence. They were mostly made up of ex soldiers.Their name came from their mix of military and police uniform which reminded a reporter of the colour of the beagles used by the Scarteen Hunt in Limerick.
